End-to-End Penetration-Test Simulation (Adversary Emulation)

Execute a full-kill-chain adversary emulation against a realistic range and deliver a professional penetration-test report mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.

**The problem**
Point-in-time vulnerability scans do not reflect how a real intrusion unfolds across initial access, persistence, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and exfiltration. Many organizations have never validated whether their detections fire against a full attack chain, leaving dangerous gaps between compromise and detection. Students rarely experience the complete kill chain end-to-end.

**What you'll build**
Build a multi-host target range (AD domain, web tier, cloud workload) and execute a scoped adversary-emulation campaign mapped to a named threat actor's TTPs using MITRE ATT&CK. Chain reconnaissance, exploitation, C2, credential access, lateral movement, and simulated exfiltration, then produce a professional report with evidence, ATT&CK Navigator heatmap, detection gaps, and remediation.

**Objective** — Execute a full-kill-chain adversary emulation against a realistic range and deliver a professional penetration-test report mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.

**Expected outcome** — A reproducible target range, an ATT&CK-mapped emulation plan, C2 logs and evidence, a Navigator coverage heatmap, and a client-grade pentest report with remediation.

**Difficulty** — Expert — requires full-chain tradecraft across AD, web, and cloud plus C2 operations and professional reporting.
