Wireless Networks, Mobile Code & Agent Security
Secure wireless communications and mobile/AI-agent code execution through link hardening, code integrity/attestation, sandboxing, and untrusted-content defenses.
Modern edge and IoT ecosystems depend on wireless links (Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, cellular) that carry mobile code and autonomous software agents whose provenance, integrity, and runtime behavior are hard to verify. Rogue access points, downgrade and evil-twin attacks, insecure OTA firmware/agent updates, and unsandboxed mobile code let adversaries intercept traffic or push malicious logic onto endpoints. With the rise of autonomous AI agents that fetch and execute remote instructions, prompt-injection and tool-abuse expand "mobile code" risk into the AI domain.
**What you'll build**
Build a wireless-and-mobile-code security lab that (1) attacks and defends wireless links — rogue-AP/evil-twin detection, WPA3 enforcement, BLE/Zigbee sniffing and hardening — and (2) secures mobile code and software/AI agents with code signing, sandboxing, attestation, and least-privilege capability policies, plus OTA update integrity. Extend to AI-agent security by defending an autonomous agent against prompt-injection, malicious tool responses, and untrusted-content execution using ATLAS-aligned controls. Deliver a combined wireless-defense and trusted-mobile-code/agent architecture.
