Quick install:
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rapid7/metasploit-framework/master/msfinstall | sh
Installation steps
- Update your package list with sudo apt update
- Download and run the official installer using the curl command above
- Wait for the script to add the Rapid7 repository and install the package
- Start the console by running msfconsole in a terminal
- The first launch sets up the local database automatically
