Quick install:
go install -v github.com/projectdiscovery/nuclei/v3/cmd/nuclei@latest
Installation steps
- Install the Go language first with sudo apt install golang
- Install nuclei with the go install command above
- Add the Go bin folder to your PATH so nuclei is found
- Run nuclei -update-templates to fetch the template library
- Scan a local practice app to confirm it works
